This project focused on creating materials for the Bugfest event. The poster design uses leaves to create the shape of an ant in the negative space. The brochure is front and back, one side featuring a bug usually found during the day , which opens up to show the daytime events, and the other side feature a bug found during the night for the night events.
Beaver’s Coffee and Donuts is a Food Truck located in Chicago. Pictured is the new design system which incorporates the image of a beaver within the donut. The business card and food truck play with imagery related to the food sold by Beaver’s Coffee + Donuts, such as coffee stains and icing.
This poster design is for the play “Pomona” which tells the story of a young woman who travels to Pomona to search for her missing sister and instead uncovers a dark secret. The concept for this design explores a theme seen throughout the play, which is people’s desire for knowledge of the unknown, which they soon come to regret.
This is the logo and advertising for the rebranding of Breyers Ice Cream. The logo design incorporates the image of a cow, referencing the fresh milk used in their product, and an ice cream cone. The series of print, billboard, and interactive digital advertisements are directed to two different target audiences: adults that want better ingredients in their food, and parents who want to give their children all natural foods. The concept involves displaying the fruit acting as the cone or bowl for the ice cream, thereby showing the natural ingredients of the product that Breyers produces.
An interactive poster design for the Mütter Museum. This design plays off the medical oddities showcased at the museum while allowing the viewer to interact with the poster itself and create new deformities in the skeleton.
Marie Laveau’s House of Voodoo is one of the most popular voodoo museums in New Orleans. This design for the museum’s website uses line illustrations of objects related to voodoo to reference the wrought iron fencing that is often seen around New Orleans.
This project focuses on creating a new wine label and packaging for wine. The concept takes feminine imagery along with kung fu weapons to create a wine label and box that represent asian culture and a strong female.
A guidebook for the lawn and gardening section of a hardware store. The design for this booklet incoporates sunprints, which are often used by children to create images of objects, as the main inspiration. The sunprints create striking blue and white imprints of gardening imagery while also generating a sense of nostalgia and playfulness. They also bring in the aspect of being outside in the sun and nature.
